Bloodshed Reaches The French Court In Next Week’s Reign

On tonight’s episode of Reign (catch up here), Francis was blackmailed by Narcisse to sign a controversial law requiring all men to declare their faith in front of the King. It’s now open season on Protestants and the religious war that has been bubbling just below the surface for months has finally exploded in France.

Mary and Francis continue to be at odds, especially when Vatican inquisitors began torturing those who identify themselves as Protestants. To make matters worse, Conde’s religious declaration has gotten him kidnapped.

Plus, Narcisse continues to pursue Lola and Catherine attempts to find a suitable mate for her daughter Claude.
