Listen To Carly Rae Jepsen And The Knocks On ‘Love Me Like That’

Every few years an artist comes around that gives the broken-hearted an album of substance that is chalk full of anthems to dance to, to cry to, and to sing at the top of their lungs to. In 2010, we had Robyn’s three-part Body Talk series that included the hits Dancing On My Own, Call Your Girlfriend, and Indestructible, cementing the former teen star as one of the most critically acclaimed voices in pop in decades.

In 2015, Carly Rae Jepsen did the same thing with her third studio album EMOTION, redefining the pop genre and proving that the Canadian singer was so much more than Call Me Maybe (something fans already knew, but was news to the rest of the music world).

Jepsen is currently on tour promoting EMOTION, but we’re still getting new music from the BC native. After remixing Jepsen’s track All That for the Japanese reissue of her album EMOTION, producing duo The Knocks scored Jepsen for their upcoming album 55.

Set to release their debut album 55 on March 4, The Knocks worked with CRJ on the album’s lead single Love Me Like That. It’s disco meets EDM with a bit of Jennifer Hudson’s Dressed Up In Love thrown in and we are loving it.

In addition to Jepsen, 55 also features Fetty Wap, Wyclef Jean, Walk The Moon and X Ambassadors.
