New Video ‘Break The Cycle’ From Pink and Dallas Green’s You+Me Project

Pink and Dallas Green’s surprise collaboration album rose ave is quickly shaping up to be one of the most highly anticipated releases of the year.

Announcing the new duo and album only a few weeks ago at the end of August, the famous solo acts, who are going by You + Me while working together, have already released their second single with Break The Cycle, a follow up to You and Me.

The new album is not the first time the unlikely twosome have worked together. After becoming a fan of Green’s music in 2010, Pink invited his band City and Colour to open for the UK leg of her tour in 2010. Green later invited Pink to perform a surprise duet on his song What Makes A Man for the opening show of his 2011 tour in Los Angeles.

In this behind the scenes video from the Break The Cycle shoot, the two artists discuss how surprising their fluidity came while recording rose ave together, which took only six days. The new album contains nine original songs, as well as a cover of Sade’s No Ordinary Love.

The pair’s latest release, Break The Cycle, is about overcoming a haunting past and having a person to support you through dark days, a song that will undoubtedly register with many fans.

rose ave is set to be released on October 14.
