New Videos This Week From Sam Smith, Demi Lovato, and More

Sam Smith Like I Can M3

Like I Can, Sam Smith

Sam Smith hits his always-impressive high notes with the track Like I Can off his debut album In The Lonely Hour. In the video just released today, Smith is surrounded by a group of men clad in tuxes as they make their way around town for boys day out. I just appreciate Smith releasing a video that for once doesn’t make me cry.

Heartstrings, Leighton Meester

Former Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester has released the music video for Heartstrings, the first track off her LP by the same name. The song is soft and beautiful and the video is essentially different shots of Meester’s face, which if you’ve seen it makes sense.

Up, Olly Murs feat. Demi Lovato

UK singer Olly Murs teamed up with Demi Lovato for the track Up, a poppy song about getting a relationship back on track. The video isn’t as strong as the single, delivering the typical visuals of trying to break down walls between a couple. Still, they both look great and Up is a fun, catchy ride.

I Bet My Life, Imagine Dragons

Following up their huge 2012 album Night Visions, Imagine Dragons are readying to release their sophomore album and have already given us a taste of what’s to come with the lead single, I Bet My Life. It’s another stadium filler from the four-piece, much in the same vein as their hits Radioactive and Demons, but with a more uplifting sound than we’ve heard before. The band scored rising actor Dane DeHaan for the trippy and beautifully shot video.
