Pretty Little Liars Star Janel Parrish Releases ‘Heart Made of Stone’

Janel Parrish isn’t taking any time off in between seasons of Pretty Little Liars. The actress has hit the studio and released her debut single, the dark and moody track Heart Made of Stone.

This isn’t Janel’s first foray into the music world. Parrish played “Young Cosette” on the Broadway production of Les Miserables and acted and sang as Jade in the Bratz movie.

Now Janel, who spends her days playing Mona Vanderwaal on M3’s Pretty Little Liars, is following in co-star Lucy Hale’s footsteps and preparing to release a solo album.

The new single definitely shows promise, with Janel giving us some Mandy Moore pop vibes. We think this song could be a bit stronger with fewer layers and more of a chance for Janel’s voice to shine through, but we’re definitely intrigued and excited to hear more.
