The very first Christmas special from Pretty Little Liars is one week away! To get into the festive spirit, we decided to count down the 12 Days of Pretty Little Liars Christmas. It’s quite a bit more gruesome than the original song, but what would you rather see - Lords A Leaping or ‘A’ a scheming? Exactly.

Twelve Tweet-worthy Episodes
We’re already half-way through Season 5 of Pretty Little Liars and already there have been countless tweet-worthy moments. From Ezra’s recovery after being shot by ‘A’ to Jessica DiLaurentis turning up in the Hasting’s backyard to Spencer being arrested for the murder of Bethany Young, Season 5 has been non-stop, edge of your seat, almost have a heart attack when your phone goes off - drama. And we love it.
Eleven Dead Rosewood Residents
Bethany Young, Mona Vanderwaal, Mya St. Germain, Ian, Jessica DiLaurentis, Shana, Detective Wilden, Garrett Reynolds, Mrs. Cavanaugh, Nate St. Germain and Alison DiLaurentis. Okay, so it turned out that Alison wasn’t really dead, but when you spend years pretending to be, we’re gonna count it.
Ten Ravenswood Romps
We sadly only got ten episodes of the PLL spinoff Ravenswood, but the short-lived series did give us a bit of a backstory into Mrs. Grunwald, the woman that helped Alison the night she disappeared. It also gave us a very dark Caleb, who has hopefully kicked his nasty drinking habit for good.
Nine Nosy Neighbors
The nine series regulars on PLL include Troian Bellisario (Spencer), Lucy Hale (Aria), Ashley Benson (Hanna), Shay Mitchell (Emily), Keegan Allen (Toby), Janel Parrish (Mona), Sasha Pieterse (Alison), Ian Harding (Ezra), and Tyler Blackburn (Caleb). Not only is it impossible for them to stay out of one another’s lives, but it’s also necessary that they don’t. Someone has to figure out ‘A’s identity and that’s a lot more likely to happen if everyone is working together…minus Alison and the now deceased Mona. But we have a feeling Ms. Vanderwaal will still be helpful in flashbacks. She’s always been a smarty.
Eight Parents Pretending to Parent
The Hastings, the Marins, the Fields and the Montgomerys. Does anyone actually care that their daughters are obviously being stalked and that people around their daughters keep ending up dead? Anyone?
Seven Sinly Seasons
Not only has Pretty Little Liars been renewed for seven seasons, but producer I. Marlene King has also confirmed that viewers will know ‘A’s identity before the start of Season Seven. ‘Scuse us while we go explode.
Six Feet Deep
There have been many deaths on PLL, but most bodies don’t end up six feet under (trunks of cars, a lighthouse, box on a train, etc). That rite of passage to the other side has been reserved for Mrs. DiLaurentis and Bethany Young, who share a temporary grave site in the Hastings back yard. How many dead bodies have to show up back there before that family moves away? We feel like one should be enough.
Five Frienemy Liars
There are many, many, many characters on Pretty Little Liars and frankly, we often have to reference our cheat sheet to remember who is an enemy, who is a friend, and who we’re unsure about (that’s the longest list). But the five names that we’ll never forget are Aria, Spencer, Hanna, Emily and Alison.
Four Suspect Siblings
From Mike Montgomery’s relationship with Mona, to Melissa disappearing to England, to Spencer’s and Alison’s half-brother Jason constantly making us question his allegiance, Toby’s step-sister Jenna never giving us a straight answer, there’s no shortage of suspicious looking siblings in Rosewood.
Three Cars A Crashing
In a town that looks like an idyllic place to go for a walk, there sure is a lot of driving taking place. We can’t forget when Hanna was hit by ‘A’ in Season 1 and ended up in the hospital, or when ‘A’ ran a car into Emily’s living room. Most recently, fans got a huge shock when Toby drove home from his Police Academy graduation and was hit by a car. Thankfully, it resulted in just a broken leg, but we’re still not sure if ‘A’ was involved.
Two Hooded Upheavals
With every mid-season and season finale of Pretty Little Liars there is one HUGE thing on every viewer’s mind - will we get a hood reveal? The end of Season 2 revealed Mona as working with ‘A’, but no reveal was more shocking than the Season 3 mid-season finale that showed a hooded Toby at Radley. Now that’s good television.
One Christmas Special
We’ve seen Halloween specials, odes to film noir, and trips to Ravenswood, but this is the first time Rosewood will be blanketed in snow and visited by Santa Claus…and ‘A’. We can almost 100 per cent guarantee ‘A’ will be there too.
