Walk Off The Earth And Arkells Cover One Direction’s ‘Drag Me Down’

If there’s one band that can consistently deliver exciting and inventive covers, it’s Walk Off The Earth. The 2015 MMVA performers never fail to impress with their take on the biggest pop hits of the moment, whether it’s going viral with their cover of Gotye’s Somebody That I Used To Know or getting retweeted by Taylor Swift.

The last cover we experienced from Walk Off The Earth was their take on The Weeknd’s summer smash Can’t Feel My Face. The track had the Burlington, ON band teaming up with their tourmate and fellow MMVA performer Scott Helman on the high energy cover.

Walk Off The Earth are again hitting the studio with some of Canada’s finest for their latest release. Working with Hamilton’s Arkells, Walk Off The Earth are taking on One Direction’s latest single Drag Me Down and putting their own touch on the track.

And what does a Walk Off The Earth-touch sound like? Stomping glass bottles in a steel bin and playing the ukulele aka ALL THE FUN.
